These are pictures on the wall of the converted railway station where we had lunch. It used to be part of the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway

think he was blue, maybe I mean Gordon, was he green?

Nea: I really should know. All the boy grand-children have been through the phase and we have a steam railway close by - just like the trains when I was a gel!

Old rail stations make the nicest buildings. I have always been enchanted by these waystations, even if they're no longer serving the purpose for which they were originally built.

I also dreamed of living in one when I was a kid. Silly me, I know.
