I wish my hair would pick up the light like that! And I love the look on your face, you're so fresh :o)

Kath: just look to the right. A lot of water has gone under the bridge since then.

You should have a few more modern photos of you up on the site too, at

Kim: I'm proud of my old photographs as by and large they were first rate photographers. It's an irony that now - when I need all the help I can get - I only have access to amateurs and believe me my family - with one exception - have difficulty getting one's head in let alone taking a flattering photo. However as the story progresses I will use more up to date ones and you can see me - warts and all.

Warts? I don't think so - you were beautiful then and you are now.

Re your question: I download photos to my hard drive and then I open Picasa and it picks them up automatically. If I have titled them when I put them in "My pictures", that title shows up on the left side of the screen in Picasa. It isn't a foolproof way to find them, but it helps. I hope that helps you. If not, let me kno0w and I'll think about what the problem might be.

My problem lately is that since I changed to the new blogger, I cannot blog directly from Picasa, which makes me sad and mad too!

Love this picture Pat...! I know some people are wanting to see pictures of me now...But, I am interested in my History, and not how I look now! (lol)...Not thrilled with how I look now, at all....And I am just beginning to appreciate the past....Maybe it is the age I am at, BUT, I love seeing and reading about your History....
Much Good Luck with the driving, Pat.

Thank you Naomi I couldn't agree more about how we look now. I'm wondering id e were born in the same year. I was born in the same year as Old Horsetail Snake aka Gene Maudlin although he had the nerve to be born a few months later:)

Wishing you lots of luck with the rfresher driving - sounds like you are doing very well.

Thanks also for you kind comments recently about my mother and all the other things going on in my life at the moment. They were most appreciated.

Michele sent me to say hi which is good as it's about time I visited again!

4d: I didn't actually take a test although he said I would have passed it. But I think he was being encouraging.

Pat said...

Thanks bob-kat. Lovely to see you - at least you don't have to travel far:)
