ROCK ON TOM!
Aside

Just had the great news that Tom’s band has been chosen to be one of five bands performing at the 2007 Field Fest at Welyn Hatfield’s Youth Music Festival on the 14th July. The Festival was started last year to give young local talent a chance to perform before large audiences.

Tom’s band is called ’Anything to do with Super heroes’ and you can hear him here

Did I say Tom is my grand-son?

Tried the link and 'got through'.
Must admit I'm too old to fully appreciate Tom's music but I wish him and his band every success and hope they enjoy the experience of playing to a large audience.

Awk, something's wrong with the sound on my pooter, I can't hear! I must pass on this link to my cousins' children who are in their teens.

You must be one proud grandma. I'm smiling because it reminds me of my mother phoning me, when I was at work, in Jamaica, writing ads. She didn't have grandchildren then and she was complaining how ALL her other sisters have, and she wants! Now she has 5 she's stopped grumbling, hee hee.

Thanks GG- I hope they like it. grandchildren can be very elusive. My poor sister-in -law only got her two in the last few years. What's great is when they actually take note of what you say, where their parents might have failed to get through.

Anna: he takes after my first husband, (who sadly died before he was born) in so many ways.

Paul: I don't know about that. I'd like him to get a proper job first.
