Kanani: she had the best lighting - best everything so Burt would be a natural choice. She was very glamorous and it's interesting to contrast her with Dame Shirley who has kept her body toned and fit and lets it all hang out. Marlene was much frailer and was practically poured into her dress. Her effect was much more contrived and Shirley's more nstural.
Grand mother but still a girl at heart. Married to MTL(my true love)after a separation of 30 years. Had three careers: trained paediatric nurse, National photographic model and business woman. Now settled in SW and enjoying our five children and ten grandchildren and making the most of what time we have left.
In January 2013 I lost MTL.

I was reading something about her... I had no idea that Burt Bacharach had been her arranger in the 50's and early 60's. Anyway, wasn't she glamorous?
