Yes Sam it is - taken some years later. I did a lot of work with him and he used to keep me in stitches - which was fine unless it was meant to be a sad photo shoot.
I knew that was you right away. Same gorgeous cheekbones, same sparkly smile. What an amazing legacy for your grandchildren. My grandfather used to write ads like these and I have a few around the house. But to actually be in one? Ridiculously cool!
Welcome mom101. One of the most famous photographer in my era was an American - Leo Aarons and he - I believe - was the first person to be able to retouch colour photographs.
You haven't changed a bit. People always say how interesting it is for one's grandchildren. I guess our children are supposed to take their parents for granted - but I should think yours are pretty proud too.
Dad regards people who can't appreciate either Ginger Rogers or Fred Astaire with complete disdain. I think their generation were very impressed by this 'look', and of course the dancing skills.
z; the grandchildren are interested - especially if either I or their parents have done anything naughty. The parents are more incined to edit. For myself I get carried away and forget I am a grand-mother!
Pat, Thanks so much for your comment and welcome to my blog! How wonderful, too, to thus discover your site! I'm having enormous fun reading your words.

Hi Elizabeth and welcome. It is nice to be complimented on how one looks - especially now - but I was bred to believe its what's inside that counts and I'm still working on that. (Pi is my cyber name after all!)
Grand mother but still a girl at heart. Married to MTL(my true love)after a separation of 30 years. Had three careers: trained paediatric nurse, National photographic model and business woman. Now settled in SW and enjoying our five children and ten grandchildren and making the most of what time we have left.
In January 2013 I lost MTL.
