We shall be having a quiet Christmas. There is solitude and there is loneliness. If you feel lonely over the holiday leave a comment and I'll get back to you.

Thank you Pat. That was grand. It's lovely to hear a college choir singing folk songs.
We wish you both a very happy Christmas, and a good New Year.
Love, Ann and Mike.
Ann and Mike: thank you and our best seasonal wishes to you both.
I thought it was nice to marry Somerset and the Missouri
I'm blessed not to be lonely but wanted to leave holiday greetings for you. All good wishes from across the Atlantic to you and your family, extended family and all of the UK. A prosperous bunk-free year to you.
Merry Christmas, Pat!

I was just thinking of the two of you and thought I would wish you a merry Christmas.
Have a lovely Christmas Day and Holiday Season with family and friends.
cheers, gayle and The Square Ones...
we sound like a 5o's rock band !
If you lived a bit closer Pat, we would surely have invited you round for Christmas day. Maggie always cooks enough for the 5,000, even though there are only 5 of us this year.
Wishing you both all the very best through the Festive Season :)
Soooo Very Beautiful. I have a long long History with this song..."THE WATER IS WIDE", as we know it here....I chose it to be used in "SPOON RIVER" to surround a particular poem---rewriting the lyrics to fit this particular poem....And I sang it for 8 performances a week, on Broadway, for 14 weeks....
And next---"Shenandoah"...Love this one, too...We almost used it in "Spoon River" too....
A Very Happy Christmas, dear Pat....I loved that you invited those of us who might be lonely to stop by....You are so very thoughtful and have such a BIG Heart, my dear...!
((((((((HUGS)))))))) my dear to you and your very dear MTL!
Merry Christmas!

Marjolein: thank you and to you two.
Map: have a great time with your lovely girls.
Kim: loving greetings to you and the family. The beautiful photos of MTL and me have been much admired by friends I have sent them to over Christmas. They are very precious to me.
Lots of happy wishes for you and yours, Pat.
I'm listening to a beautiful song, Scarlet ribbon by Harry Belafonte, which I've only just discovered at Zooms' blog.
It's done, I'll go listen to yours now.
A wonderful holiday to everyone.
I'm grateful to say that this Christmas I won't be lonely, but I feel for anyone that is. This can be a wonderful time of the year, or a sad one.
I hope you have a wonderful day Pat.
We are alone today but not lonely. Our family had visited in advance and we bask in the memory of all the family that touched us with joy. We are blessed and pray Christmas Blessings on you too. Thank you for the beautiful video. It is a gift.
GG: have been unable to get on line all day.
I remember Scarlet Ribbon clearly.
Belafonte used to be hugely popular
I hope youtoo are having a lovely holiday.
Joey: all over now. Hope yours went well. A friend was telling me that x managed to upset Y but then Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without somebody upsetting someone. I feel refreshed and ready for a new year.
Bring it on!
Granny Annie: I hope - like us - you have had a happy and restful Christmas.
