Lost Commenter
Aside
I got a long, highly knowledgeable comment today on haiku and to my discomfiture it has disappeared with all that useful info. Recently Blogger has started to send my comments to Dashboard instead of my In -Box which would be fine except that they no longer say which post it applies to, so one publishes it and then has to try to find it, to answer, if it isn't for the most recent post. Unfortunately I can't remember who sent it except it was a man. Such a nuisance!

Maybe Blogger will make me vanish!
I wonder how many spam comments you receive that you have to delete? If there are few or none, why not turn off comment moderation? Then comments can be sent to your email inbox and they will have the name of the post (with a link) on them. You can choose that comments on older posts still go to moderation if you wish.
Hope it gets fixed soon. I know how frustrating it can be.
Blogger has been doiung that with me for almost a year....! Some still go to my email, and then there are ALL these others that go to The Dashboard...It is VERY Annoying that they don't say the name of the post....!
I do not understand how they just suddenly do these thibgs without so much as a "WARNING" or something! UGH UGH UGH!
I'm 2 days behind, but so as not to confuse Blogger, I'm commenting here on Thursday's post.
I'm with YTL on the chocolate snowballs, if he had left any of them, they might have thought he didn't like them and that would be rude... wouldn't it?
On that seasonal note, I wish you and YTL a very merry Christmas!
John.g: I wouldn't like that at all!
Z: I get penises and watches all the time. I might try your suggestion as you always impress me with your techie nous. Could have done with you today when I was incommunicado for nearly 2 days.
Judy: miraculously just this minute thanks to son # 2's advice.
Naomi: see Z'z comment - it may be helpful. I'm back on line praise be!
Nea: good thinking. I'm still mourning the loss of my new gentleman.
Daphne: thank you and the same to you and a happy healthy 2009.xoxo
I get at least 100 and sometimes more Spam thingy's a day...Very few are about Penises though.....I might try turning off the moderation thingy, but....I am loath to have all these Spam emails put up on my blog....!
Naomi: it's difficult deciding what is the best solution. I think they think Pat is a male:)
