Happy Valentine's Day
I know some of you think it is a rip off but I think it is a good reason to pause  and stop and think for a moment.  Our treat is : no decorators so no 6.30am start and a special Valentine's meal at home a deux.

i agree, pat - it IS always good reason to pause - and to think for a moment - to remember, even - of that thing called love...

Going to do our best to grill a steak tonight -- not easy to do in Minneapolis at this time of year!

I hope you have a great meal – my knee is acting up, so nothing special today. We’ll have a Valentine luncheon tomorrow – just a belated Valentine, that’s all.

Hope you had a lovely romantic day.

I popped in to see a neighbour today for a cuppy and chat: "So, what are you doing tonight?" He asked.
"Trying to finish a bloody story." Said I.
"So you and Steve aren't romantic, then?"
Oops, I'd forgotten it was Valentine's day.
"I think Stevie might like to be." I answered, to which my neighbour laughed uproariously and said: "poor bloke."

One year I'll surprise him and send a huge bouquet to his office.

Vagabonde: too bad about the knee and I hope it is better for tomorrow.

Eryl: perhaps he think you wouldn't approve. I must say I have to struggle sometimes with the roses and the card, the chocs, sparkley rose and the special meal.
NOT!
