I don't know why the photos have suddenly disappeared. Will try to sort it in the morning.

Which photos have disappeared, Pat? I see two shots of the loo and one of the staircase. All look very nice!

Love !
I am so envious of your beautiful staircase !

cheers, parsnip

Ponita: hurrah! they're back again.
Or I'm losing my marbles. These and the previous ones had disappeared at bedtime. No alcohol was consumed.

Parsnip: I'm thankful I didn't have to paint it but I do appreciate it and as I'm up and down it 50 times a day it keeps me fit.

p.s. YOu asked about Gold Toe socks. :-) I buy them at Macy's. Do you have Macy's? Any high-end department store. They are, simply, the best of socks. Here's the Amazon link: http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=gold+toe+socks&tag=googhydr-20&index=apparel&hvadid=7466970621&ref=pd_sl_737x3bhyht_e.

Yikes. That link doesn't look very friendly, does it?! :-)

This puzzles me. The toilet hasn't moved to my knowledge?
Thank so much for the Amazon link.
The only Macy we have is a fellow blogger - except she's a lady.

Me me me, I want lemon meringue pie now!

Looking at these pics, I see the English influence on the older homes here, and in the rest of the Caribbean. They were so very charming charming.

Mage: it's fresh and clean - good enough for me:)

LOM: thank you:)

GG: I'm not sure I will ever be able to look L.M. pie in the face again.
I always think of those older homes full of grace and character.
