I'm afraid that ordinary shortcut won't work in a comment box, you have to use html for that. I can describe how to do italics, but I can't show you because all you will get is italics, not a demonstration.

First you need the decrease symbol (bottom left of your clipping) then i then the increase symbol. So it looks like i inside angular brackets. Then write the message in italics. Then the decrease symbol, a forward slash, the i again, and the increase symbol. b for bold instead of i, and so on.

Clear as mud, love?

As for your other problem, I don't know, I'll do some experimenting and come back to you if I work it out. XXX

Reporting back, I can't work out how to undo it yet, I'm afraid. I've got to go out now, if no one else has helped you, I'll have another try when I get home again.

And when I said "Then write the message in italics," I should have said, then write the message you want to be in italics - they only show up when you publish it.

Thank you Zoe - you are one of my wizards.
The first part I can live without and think it is wiser to do so at present. My main priority is to get back to normal size so I can publish - bearing in mind there is still the bleedin' Picasa problem.

Can't you just Ctrl, Shift, minus (-) to decrease?

Z's trying to say this (and I am putting space between things so it will show but you'd have to take them out):
Italics = < i > your word or phrase < / i >
Bold = < b > your word or phrase < / b >

The <> go around the command letter and the / added in stops the action.

Try Granny Annie's suggestion, it works. Press Control (Ctrl) and then the shift key and hold them both, then press the - key.

Your wall chart will work in areas other than the comments box.

Hope this helps a bit!

I notice that your comments box actually says that we can use some HTML tags in the comments! :-)

Ponita, I tried to demonstrate once in someone's comment box and it wouldn't publish, it kept saying I had unfinished tags. That is, of course, exactly what I meant.

Pat, the html tags are exactly what I showed to you. The < > must enclosed the command. "i" is for italics, "b" is for bold. When you just put the letter within the < >, that starts the command. By adding the "/" in front of the letter within the < >, you end the command. That is a small part of html coding. Just make sure you have no spaces inside the < > and it should all work! :-)
