Your bottom photo looks like it was taken in some tropical mountain village just above the jungle line.

Eryl: we've had some tropical like weather in the last month.

Unfortunately we've been having autumnal weather for the past month.

I've seen more winter sunrises than summer ones - quite simply because of the time I get up :)

Why are you up when the sun rises? Because you haven't been to bed yet? Because being up to see the sunrise when you don't necessarily have to be is just crazy. To me.

It's been a while since I got up for to see the sunrise! There have been many times though that i WAS up to see the sunrise, BEFORE getting to bed! Ah the life of a wandering minstrel!

(Happy Birthday to your Grand-daughter in Oz!) :¬)

Kim: I'm sorry you haven't had some of the lovely weather. It's cooler now and we've had much needed rain.

Mapstew: thank you for the wishes. We phoned her at 9am - our time - and she was giving a tea party to girl and boy friends. Still an English girl:)

UB: I wake early in the summer and if there's a post in my head it's simpler to get up and do it, then have breakfast in bed and a quick zizz.

pat - thank you so very much for your sweet note for my birthday - i do hope you'll make it by for a bit of dancing under the moon - and lots of food and drink [you mentioned no breakfast yet! :)] - and a special treat from our wandering minstrel himself! see you there!

oh, and fabulous images of sister sun rising - i'm up before her every morning to see her into our day!

glorious good wishes to another leo woman, your granddaughter, too! i wish her love!

Thank you for the invite - I look forward to it although I've just about had my excitement for the day - see later post. Maybe they were celebrating your birthday:)

is that Glastonbury Tor in the distance?

Pat said...

Rosneath: no it's our own Grabbist Hill, Dunster. We are quite a way from Glastonbury which is on the other side of the M5.

Goodness me dear lady, what an incredible view both upwards and outwards from your balcony. I am suitably impressed.

Warden: I think the balconies were the main reason we bought the house - 25 years in September.
