A charming home and how wonderful that you got to see it and have a lovely visit! I bet Margaret's Garden is fabulous---or certainly will be. Has it already been 5 months?? It seemed you just tole us they were moving...!
Naomi: yes - I had it from the horse's mouth - Malcolm.
Charming indeed. How I enjoy seeing / visiting other people's homes. Am I nosy? :-)
My idea of travelling is to go to homes rather than visiting the regular touristy places.
GG: what a brilliant idea that would be.
The tapestries are fabulous!!
Judy: I think they are priceless.
Are the fairies Cecily Mary Barker's Flower Fairies? My kids loved them!
Debra: yes they are. I love my Sweet Pea fairy plate that Margaret gave me.
One of my daughters made a Willow Fairy costume when she was about 6. They are lovely drawings!
Debra: what a clever little girl. Margaret had many more - she sold some when she moved. I must ask her how she came to collect them.
