What a beautiful garden! I am so envious of gardens that thrive so well. All eight gardens in this clos have a huge fight against ants. I'm forever boiling the kettle and killing off yet another ant's nest and this time it's in Herman's run.
And I would so like a car for an hour. I need to buy turf and a few plants for the run but dammit, it's really not feasible on a bike:(
Do keep up with your wonderful pictures of your garden :-)
Beautiful plants and a very BEAUTIFUL Garden, my dear....
I am glad you will have help with your house---I don't know what I would do if I didn't have Lucy once a week....
Sounds like you had a lovely meal, too...! Yum, Yum, Yum! And another wonderful visit with M.
Zed: poor Herman - I hope they don't bite him.
I'll certainly keep showing pictures of the garden but I try not to repeat myself. Inevitably I do.
Naomi: yes life is quite exciting with Sheila coming on Thursday and the new TV etc on Friday. I really enjoy seeing Karen (the gardener)and I hope Sheila will be the same - as far as compatibility goes.
What a beautiful garden... (love your pictures of it with snow too) so green and lush, so different from mine.
I use to love working in the garden but now it is just a little here and there for me.
Parsnip: believe me I do very little physical work in the garden now. Today I pottered round washing pots and refilling with compost and after I had done three was exhausted:)
lovely, I never have much luck with lupins
LOM: honey, I'm hopeless with lupins too. The get all bug- bound. These are acanthus mollis:)
