This salvia is great - it provides gorgeous colour for months but apparently I should have cut it back.
The cuttings I think are a success.

Came across your blog as you have been writing recently about The North of England. I couldn't help but notice the fantastic gardening skills.
We have some similar Irises here in The Lake District, and with the weather this May, they are just beginning to bloom.
Unfortunately I don't think there are any in our photos at our Lake District Holiday Cottages but our rhododendrons are really going for this year as well.
