Pat, it's a lovely photo! Your mum must have been a very pretty woman too. Showing a bit of leg, I see... LOL (both of you!).Michele said to come again, and so I did!
Judy: it was a private garden - like ours now, and if I was in the nuddy no-one would know or care:) I thought Mum was pretty at ninety. She was very cuddlesome.
What a LOVELY picture, Pat...You are both so very pretty, and the garden looks so pretty, too! What year might that have been, my dear? Isn't it wonderful to have pictures from your life...especially of your Mum....I knoe how you loved her from all that you have written...! Thanks for sharing this very dear photograph!
Kim: not s photograph - a painting and it's safely tucked away in an old friend's attic and will probably end up in a boot sale. Fortuitously the artist left my head off.
Grand mother but still a girl at heart. Married to MTL(my true love)after a separation of 30 years. Had three careers: trained paediatric nurse, National photographic model and business woman. Now settled in SW and enjoying our five children and ten grandchildren and making the most of what time we have left.
In January 2013 I lost MTL.

Champagne cocktails!
At 10:00 in the morning!
It can only have been the sixties.
Naomi: I think about 1970. At the earliest late sixties. we were probably both smoking.
Andrewm: see above. Can't be more accurate than that.
Nothing like champes for breakfast, eh? We sort of do the same thing here on canoe trips -- except with beer. At least, we used to when we were young.
Cheers.
Randall: I don't know why Andrewm assumes it was morning. I'm saying it was when the sun was over the yard arm - 'cos I'm a laydeee.
Slackers!!
*Ok, coat is on!*
Johng: get you next time ya young varmint!

So when are those pics getting posted?
Kim: as my Scottish MIL used to say 'See one you've seen 'em all!'
ok, so where did you post the first one...?

Aha! The painting in the attic, that explains your eternally youthful looks, Doreen Grey. Is that a gin bottle I see on the table?
Daphne: damn! my secret is out:)
I think it is probably brandy and we would be having champagne cocktails - in the wrong glasses.
