That was so thoughtful. Homemade gifts are often the best kind. I love that turquoise - with the gold it makes the whole thing so vibrant.
I'm pretty sure I ate a full pound of chocolate this weekend, Pat. I am a beast.
Sam: the guilt feeling is the worst but at your age you can get away with it - I get fat.

I'm curious about the icon room.
GG: I got it wrong - it's not a collage. Will post about it tomorrow. One of my spare bedrooms has lots of icons that I have collected over the years - some from Greece and there is my Gran's crucifix - it's quite a spiritual little room and my teen-age grandson who always sleeps there asked me if he could show it to his school friend when they dropped in one weekend.
