Krimo: it's only recently that we have found somewhere decent to eat in Bath. Some places have been dire. I wonder if you ever have time to go to the theatre in Scarborough. Lovely to have it so near. My SIL in Peterlee always seemed to be seeing exciting things in Newcastle.
I've been through Bath many a time, but always on the way somewhere (like Scotland, so long trip) and Royal will never pull over! I'll get there someday
Ah, Bath. You remind me of August 2003. I was there for a conference and was surrounded by lots of attractive and witty people, just as I was also falling in love. A very good time.
Grand mother but still a girl at heart. Married to MTL(my true love)after a separation of 30 years. Had three careers: trained paediatric nurse, National photographic model and business woman. Now settled in SW and enjoying our five children and ten grandchildren and making the most of what time we have left.
In January 2013 I lost MTL.

Bath is so cosmopolitan. The restaurant could be a Parisian bistro.
And Scarborough... Just down the road from us!

I love the architecture of Bath. Looks like you've had some nice weather, Pat.
Bath's nice. Been there. Didn't spoil it ;-)
I busked in Bath about 15 years ago with my mandolin. It was the only place I've ever busked where I didn't make a single penny.
Nice buildings. Tight fisted residents.
4d: Of course you wouldn't but there are some real eyesore buildings also in Bath.
Kim: I think some times the buskers outnumber the residents, but I'd have been generous:)

No, I haven't been to the Scarborough theatre but I lived in Peterlee and my SIL still lives there.
