Chit Chat

Aside

Just listened to a new story 'Captain Dan' by Devin on the Story teller's blog (see side bar). It's great to hear the different voices and accents and helps one to; visualise the person.

Today the Sussex kids are taking us out for an early Birthday lunch for MTL - it's not until early November. At tea-time we are having a large chocolate cake lavishly decorated by James aged seven. It would be very rude of me not to partake:)

Must take time to look at the story tellers' blog.

Enjoy your day and the cake. Who could refuse chocolate cake from a seven year old - too sweet, lol!

Casdok: I knew you'd approve.

Anna: yes do. Kim has made it feasible and you should join us.

Birthday cake... still recovering from mine last night. But ones baked by a 7 year old are truly special :)

Randall and TLP: I'll think of you both as I lick up the crumbs:)

Of course it would be rude of you - and you can certainly afford the calories!!

Thanks for the visit; the only time I wear sunscreen is at the beach - but I'm just not in the sun much at all. This year was way too hot!

Indeed, Indeed...It would be MORE than rude Pat. He might not ever get over it if you don't participate, my dear. I know how difficylt it wil be to eat chocolate, but you must force yourself! (LOL)

Naomi: unfortunately than I was on a downward path and started on the boxed chocs. Happily I have no urge to eat the lovely bouquet.

I never touch cakes baked by small children. Especially if they've got currants in ... if you follow me.

Ooooh Daphne! I wish you hadn't said that - but it was delicious!
