Tropiquaria
We paid a visit here over the weeek-end.
Johnny Depp allowed us to run wild round the pirate ship

I'm sure I know him?

I wonder if they knew Rikki Tikki Tavi?

The misfit - just because someone is different is no reason to be mean!

Love the white wallaby. Saw one at a wildlife park years back.

Rumours that the gorilla is in any way related to me are unfounded....probably

That looks like a geat place for a day out. I'm sure the white wallaby is just supervising, LOL!

Michele sent me to say hello!

Pat said...

4d: the white wallaby seemed to be persona non grata, every time it approached the trio they saw him off. Quite sad really.

bob-kat: It's some time since we've been but all ten of the grand-children have enjoyed it over the years.

gautami: I'm not entirely sure what they are doing.

Hi Said and welcome!

Thanks Anna: they were both good days. What's next?

We used to go to Paignton Zoo who had a fabulously beautiful albino peacock......
He had to be separated from the other peacocks 'cos they would peck his feathers.

Nice pictures of your day out, Pat :-)

Four Dinners said "Rumours that the gorilla is in any way related to me are unfounded..." I bet the gorilla breathed a sigh of relief when he read that! (Joke. Don't hit me again...)

I suppose that if they dyed that white walli ..wallap ..kangaroo the same colour as the others they would accept him/her. Anyway, it's probably got bad breath; that's why they back away.

Great scott! I have never before seen a white kangaroo. Nice flix.

Keith: If 4d weren't getting better from an episode he would probably bash you, so take care. Not everyone is as sweet-natured as Johng:) The wallaby was certainly treated like a pariah.

Paignton Zoo had a white wallaby? I don't remember that.

I am however looking for Johnny Depp in the pictures. Is it a bit like Where's Wally/Johnny??

Poor white wallaby. Is there something innate in animals and humans alike that makes some of them unkind to those who appear different?

Pat, that looks like a fun time -- I hope that you had a smallish child with you to make it all the more fun!
Michele reminded me I hadn't visited you for a day or two!

Rikki Tikki Tavi the mongoose? Is that what those things in the picture are? Mongeese?

Except the ones being mean to the white wallaby.

Pi - as requested. Marks and Spencers own brand most enormous pair of support knickers, come halfway down the thigh and right up under the bra. Look horrid until you put something on over the top, and then they look FAB.

Pat said...

Sim: I meant the pirate. No?

sabommeuse: sadly, I think yes.

Breadbox: yes our four year old grand-daughter.

Doccie: yes ! Aren't thay great? Bring on the snakes!

Hey Nonny! Sorry couldn't resist it!

Naomi: guess what - I have more!

The Aunt: thank you. I think they may be too restrictive for me but will investigate. Their no- panty- line ones are the complete opposite and it's like wearing no knicks.

HRH: sorry mistook you for said. silly me!

Eryl Shields said...

What is that place, pirates, mongeese, ostracised roos? I must visit.

Pat said...

Eryl: I suppose it's a cross between an aquarium and a Zoo. Great for children and anyone interested in various species. We've seen some lovely puppet shows also, over the years. Will put the rest of the photos up later in the week.
