Whenever I see Exmoor landscapes I think of my father's paintings (Donald Ayres). For a while he gained quite a reputation as an Exmoor artist and has had 2 books of his paintings of Exmoor published.
The Barle Gallery in Dulverton stocks quite a few of his oils, although you'll get a far better deal by going to the artist direct (link on my sidebar under "Artists" if you've a notion).
Kim: when it quietens down
(tourists in Dulverton apparently are making parking impossible) I must go and look at your father's paintings or get one of his books.
