My niece, an animal lover and vet technician, has about six of the bearded dragons (second photo) running around her apartment. They're from Australia, I think, and can't be exported to the U.S. anymore, so all the pets are bred here.
Oh, and meercats are cute.
Cheers
Randall:six in one apartment must be - different:) I had to wait some time for the meercat to stand up.
wow nice photos...
I am waiting for the birth (hatch) of my new lizards
and I have 2 Tarantulas at home
Novy:tarantulas! Blimey! Good luck with the births. I'm ashamed to say I had a lizard skin hand bag as a little girl. Different times - different mores.
What kind of bird is that? I have never seen one, so mebbe it's a Brit through and through.

It's great to see these pictures really really big after you click on them....Amazing creatures, these....That is a wonderful Zoo, isn't it?
Hoss: oh dear! because it was flying free there was no label. It's a black and white bird - just s little larger than a thrush - much smaller than a sea-gull. Help anyone?
Naomi: it is a good place but they are difficult to get hold of. I'm trying to find the answer to Hoss's query.
