Gorgeous and love the easy placement of the statue. Unfortunately here in America you do not see that ease of a natural garden, its always a little too staaged and new...

Och, Pat... you cheeky wee bisom.

ALW: our garden is a bit wild and has a will of it's own.

Chef: moi?

This 'wild garden with a will of its own' is wonderful. I'd stroll around, sit in a nook, read, drink tea, dream.

GG: mow the lawn honey - whilst you're at it?

Such colours! (I'm colour-blind, so the colours I see may not actually be the ones nature portrays. Beautiful!) :¬)

Just lovely, our Acer died over the summer, *tut*

Pat said...

LOM: that is sad. Mum gave me this and I would hate anything to happen to it.

What beautiful contrasts. Our leaves are all fallen, but I've got pictures of them turning at the beginning of October that I'm looking at now.

Ps I laughed at:

Parsnip: you only see the best bits:)

I thought you meant of you!

sorry, sorry, sorry.

I do now realize it was the garden and I had muddled up the comments.

I'm sure garden and owner are lovely all over :)

I re-read all the comments you left on my blog and thank you. I love to look at your pictures of English villages, cottages and inns. I’d would very much like to go back to England next year (it has been 10 years now) but my husband no longer drives and I’m terrified to drive on the left – all our trips are made using public transportation, so I don’t think it would be that easy in the English countryside, although you do have a good train and coach system. I ordered the poetry book by Doris Sloley (directly from Amazon UK for a much better price than Amazon US.) I really enjoyed watching the video of Queen Elizabeth through the ages – it’s terrific. She is a very attractive lady and is one of my favorites.
I enlarged your last photo – what a flamboyant tree! Lovely!

John: hiding in the spam box again:)

Nea: you are not wrong: garden or me - only the best bits:)

Vagabonde: I feel foryou re the driving - we are very limited in how far we can motor - mainly local.
I hope you enjoy doris's book. I sent her allthe comments and she was very touched.
So nice to have your appreciative comments.x.
