Luverly! What are you growing up your arbour? The grapes I've planted by mine should be producing fruit for the first time next summer.

John: thank you:)

Naomi: at least we can see the sea again:)

Mapstew: you do hear the odd car door slam:)

Gadjo: the rose New Dawn - we had to replace the first - lovely pale pink and as old as myself. Winter jasmine - pale yellow, and two shades of blue solanum(potato plant)I must replace a clematis that has foundered.

Quite agree Pat. The VERY best time of year is a lovely March and April, with the knowledge that summer is to follow.

Mike and Ann:seems a long way off.
I wonder how I can get rid of these great gaps in the comment box?

As much as I LOVE Autumnal colour, I really do prefer spring; the colour and vibrancy of the season is just lovely...

Pat said...

rashbre: fleeting beauty - perhaps the best kind.

Sharon: you have to be out on the balcony to see it.

Marjolein; thank you - although I am not responsible:)

Bernie: I tend to agree with you.
