Lovely Pat - particularly like the picture through to the church.
What a shame they don't allow pets!
(They allowed Pats and that's only one letter out)
so you could sit on the loo and watch the birds, nice
Rog: yes it draws you in.
I didn't realise they didn't allow pets. Hope the doggies don't take it personally.
LOM: blissful:)
Another one of the most beautiful places you have visited for your holidays.
What is the name of village so I can look it up on the map. I always like to see where you have been.
cheers, parsnip
This looks like a fantasy English Village created by MGM in they're heyday....What a beautiful place, my dear Pat. It sounds like you had a very special time there, too!
I swear, you make me want to visit England, cold weather and all, Pat.
Haha, if I had a loo with a view like that, I'd set up office in there!
Parsnip: it used to be so much easier to do the words and pictures together. I'm never sure which order they are read. Note the network of tiny lanes:)
Naomi: true - apart from 'rush hour'and the A35.
GG: the trouble with a beautiful view - not a lot of work gets done so I always face a wall.
Beautiful cottage with a very evocative name.
Rashbre: we saw the name 2 or 3 times including a very good pub on the Cahrd Crewkerne road.
Lovely lot of photos... I will be back in the UK next May, and I can not wait!! A conference in Dublin, then over the pond to GB and into Liverpool...
Thanks for sharing!
what incredibly beautiful photos you always take pat - you have us right there with you - but yearning to "really" be there in all that picturesque beauty! thanks so much for letting us all tag along on your wonderful little jaunts!
Bernie: now Liverpool I hardly know at all although I trained near Manchester.
Gypsy: you are always welcome:)
This place is straight out of an Enid Blyton book (which I loved when I was a kid but are considered very un PC now). Must use "cock stride" in conversation soonest. You love loos with a view - me-est too!
Oh yeah a view from the loo is always nice. :D The place looks beautiful and home cooked food is always a bonus!
ALW: I'm afraid I'm not very PC but good views are always a joy.
The States are going to be awash with cockstrides:)
Joey: agreed. Just this evening MTL was spooning his home cooked chicken casserole into containers for the freezer. Sadly I won't be eating them as I never know what he has put in them - calorie wise.
