The Gripes of Wrath
Lyme Regis twixt carpark and the sea.
The lovely silver sea. Now where is the Cobb?
We seek it here.
We seek it there.
We seek it every bloomin' where. Do look at the small redhead.
MTL liked the look of the motor. Alas back to the car park.

I recognise all of this... but I can't figure out where you are - not on the front promenade, by the looks of it!
Sx
So very charming, my dear Pat...It sounds like it wasn't easy trying to get anywhere that day....lol!
Bur, where you did get to is very very Beautiful and different that places you have showed us before.......
(I liked your "take" on The Scarlet Pimpernel"....)
Scarlet: as I expect you realise I am the last person to reveal where we were. Settle for Lyme Regis
I went a bit mad and have just had a new duck down pillow delivered.
Naomi: It was different - especially the light.
Why does what you can't have seem so awfully desireable?
Your driving me crazy... every time you post photos of places you have visited I want to live there !
So I guess the best place to live is where you do then visit all these lovely villages ! le sigh
cheers, parsnip
Hello Pat. We find exactly the same difficulties when we try and abide by the speed limits. People are very foolish over this, and beside the obvious risks they run, they also forget the risk of losing their licence if the speed limits are regularly flouted.
Sorry to waffle on, but this is rather a sore point.
Parsnip: I'll keep my eyes open for a suitable house. With pool?
Mike and Ann: waffle away. We should unite and bring back courtesy on the roads. If they can imagine it is their family they are road raging at they may think twice. We should have special courtesy days to get people to remember what it used to be like. I am going to waffle about it at every opportunity.
Thank you Pat. I was in London yesterday, and saw a sign in the tube stations that said 'A bit of courtesy wouldn't hurt you'. I think someone else has already started a campaign. Hope so anyway.
Mike and Ann: common courtesy costs nothing and certainly seperates the men from the boys.
LOVE all of the photos, and I love the Anchor one the best!! In Australia, we have several names for redheads, some I won't say, but a few I can are 'Blue' and 'Ranga'! The later, they are trying to outcast as it may be taken as a bad way, I don't mind it, but... And of course, our PM Julia Gillard is a redhead, and thus, comes names I can not say!!
Lovely pics, and thanks for sharing them!
Bernie: the anchor photo is a favourite because so much is happening.
