MITM beat me to it. Yosemite National Park it is. The real estate developers haven't destroyed it yet.
UB: I love those mountains and I bet they are much higher than our Ben Nevis.

Yosemite National Park.
We went there every year, more in the winter for skiing. Breathtaking and less crowded !

Rog: an eay mistake to make. I often confuse Yellowstone with Yosemite. Jellystone was the actual name. Since today I know that Yellowstone in Wyoming is slightly NW of Kansas...
Chef:...and Kansas is just SE of Wyoming and Yellowstone. Now you boys can stop trying to confuse me.

Wherever it is---It Is BEAUTIFUL!!! Maybe Yosemite? But, I honestly don't know.
All bets seem to be on Yosemite. Mine is on that as well. Be sure and let us know when your #2 son confirms the location.
Naomi and Granny Annie: Yosemite it is - confirmed by #2 son this morning.
As he also told me to check out Ansell Adams the photographer I'm not sure who took the photo but will no doubt be told soon. BTW he says they feel more wary in S F - people not so friendly but I assume that is the difference between people in a National Park and people in a city.
Are they coming to Los Angeles, my dear Pat?
