Looking towards Branscombe from Seaton

'Bert and Ethel 'scanning the sea with their seats, sun hats and sarnies (sandwiches) in their own little world like modern day Canutes

The Old Inn - great place.

On of the 14 trams. All the drivers have teddy bear mascots and there was a small drama when one of the bears got on the wrong tram

Oh, the ocean pictures make me homesick for Laguna Beach. The Old Inn looks just the place to sit and enjoy a lovely lunch.
The weather looks fabulous.
Teddy Bears in a fight ? never...

It's hard to believe there were so few people on that beach in such weather. In the states, it would be wall-to-wall bikinis, (not that there's anything wrong with bikinis, mind you.)

Cheers.

Parsnip: the Old Inn is one I'd happily go back to. We discovered also the New Inn which was close but in a quiet lane - too late for us to sample it.

Randall: I can't think why it was so quiet - it is the famous Jurrassic Coast. Maybe Bank Holidays are busier. Our good luck;)

It is all soooo BEAUTIFUL! Love the look of the 'beach'....it actually looks lonely, doesn't it?
And that thatched roof---Marvelous!
I love that you and your dear MTL got around to many places while in the area.
