India - a dream come true
Some time ago my friend GG http://sapodilla.blogspot.com/ suggested I write about our trip to India so I decided to show a few random shots -from time to time
. Apologies for the old fashioned photos ie non digital but it's somehow fitting. You may be able to see the pen mark on the map. We started in Delhi, then took the train to Gwalior. Back up to Agra then to Jaipur, Bikaner, Jailsalmer, Manvar, Jodhpur, Udapur
then to Mumbai.
P.S. GG i can't do the link - my right click won't work. Difficult morning with Firefox crashing.

When did you go to India, Pat?
You're right about the pics, they lend a lot of charm.
Sx
Never been to India, although my phonecalls to help lines get redirected there an awful lot.
Scarlet: I had to look it up. It was November 2000. That's funny I though it was longer ago. It must have been our millenium treat. I'm quite good at finding excuses for jollys.
Kim: Oh doesn't it drive you mad. And having been and liked most of the people I always feel I must be very patient and polite when I'm usually screaming with frustration. It seems to happen less now.
Marvelous. I look forward to more pics and a few stories, as well.
Cheers.
Randall: you're such a hard task master.
Jaisalmer was the only place I was called "Memsahib", much to my surprise (I mean that I was there, not that I wasn't anywhere else!). Did you ride a camel on the sand dunes there? I loved it, my sister hated it and walked back!
I look forward to seeing your photos. Pat.
Z: no camel riding or elephant riding but a wonderful night in the desert.
Judy: they all have to be scanned and cropped so it's quite a long business - hard on the knees but I'll do it slowly:)
