Off to Fremington!
Aside
Where is it?
Not a million miles from here – about 60 - and a couple of miles from Instow where we normally stay in the hotel.
Why aren’t we going to the super hotel?
We find just now - the freedom a cottage affords, is what suits us best. And it is a lovely cottage on the Tarka Trail. I hope to walk some more of it which hopefully will help me when I do the charity walk for Leukaemia Research with Ian Botham on October 10.
If you get bored why not dip into the archives and try not to stray too far away. Back in just over a week.

have a lovely weekend, will be enjoying the sun myself here (for a change!)
ENJOY!~!
Hope you have a great time :)
Have a WONDERFUL time, My Dear......You will be missed, by one and all!
Mei del: good! I think we deserve it:)
Judy: I'll do my best DV.
Kim: thank you! xox
As what I am fallible ! I ignored everything on Ian Botham except its name !
Enjoy yourselves!
I agree with regards taking a cottage rather than a hotel. I never stay in hotels these days if I can help it, they make me feel like a caged animal. I need to be able to make myself a bit of toast now and again.
Have you read Ted Hughes's letters, he writes at length about Tarka and that area, and became quite good friends with the author of Tarka the Otter?
I'm sure you'll see this when you return. I hope you had a good trip and I look forward to reports and photos.
Cheers.
Nah, I'm going to just sit here and wait for you to tell me where it is. Much easier that way.
Already looking forward to the pix.
Hope you had a lovely time and good luck with the walk, it's an excellent cause.
Enjoy the getaway!
Hope you are having a WONDERFUL Time, my dear Pat....It is Friday night here in Los Angeles, October 3rd...(How did that happen??)
Are you back?
Crabtree: I don't think Ian would appreciate being ignored:)
JohnG: thanks son!
Eryl: no I haven't read Ted's letters. For a long while I was very prejudiced against him and saw all from Sylvia Plath's POV but lately have felt more charitable. Years ago I dragged MTL on a voyage round Williamson's area so would find the book interesting. Thanks for the suggestion.
Hoss: that's the spirit!
Rashbre: later in the week DV!
Nea: I did a dummy run {walk)whilst away.
Miss D: thanks - it was great.
Naomi: thank you for all your good wishes and I hope to be fully functioning soon.
Randall: lovely to get your message - especially as some aren't getting through. Back to unpacking!
