Jamie asked for a photograph so Mary, my partner in the shop took these in Southborough Wood.

And still gorgeous. Your kind of beauty doesn't fade, Pat.
Are you kidding? You are still VERY VERY Glamorous in these pictures, Pat.....Truly!
This is such a wonderful sweet tender story Pat. All I can think of is "Brief Encounter" though that, of cours, is a whole other story--It's the train and Charring Cross, and the Hotel, etc... This truly is one of The Great Love Story's! As always, I look forward to much more!
Naomi: it does seem very shallow to care about one's looks but there it is. One does the best one can with the relentless march of time.n Thank you for what you said about the story - that seems more important to me now.
Sam: I don't know what to say without sounding coy so a sincere thank you:)
And very beautiful, even without the trappings of glamour~!
Judy: didn't you notice my red shoes:)
Middle aged? You look about 20! And you haven't changed a lot since then. I'm not being nice, I don't do nice. You have obviously cracked the secret of eternal youth (physical and mental) - I'll have a slice of whatever you're having!
Daphne: you're making me nervous now. I've got a blog meet soon.
Pat you're gorgeous!
You do look alarmingly like my Mum!
morahmommy: that was nearly 30 years ago:)
john.g : then any compliments are meant for Mum 1.
Very pretty pictures. I especially like the second picture. Beautiful forests where you live. Michele sent me.
Oh...and the looping your arm through the tree root. :-) I have never seen a photo where anyone has done that...looks nice.
TBB: thank you. It's probably a balance thing and stopped me from falling over:)
I think you underestimate yourself. Then as now.
granny p: if I do - it's the upbringing I'm afraid.
