Daphne: I suspect she and Corin still are but she has quietened down a great deal. One of the photographs had her looking hideous with a bouffant blonde wig - with her daughter. What were they thinking of?
Beautiful. Haha, I like Daphne's way of putting it, 'for an old Trot...'
The other day a friend and I were talking about women who age gracefully, and we were discussing what the media have done to fool women that, as we age, we're...uh...unsightly with wrinkles.
GG: I was watching Joan Rivers in close up on TV and it's weird seeing her face. Although she was feeling quite emotional, her face didn't move. She looked like a ittle old lady with a puppet's face.
I saw Atonement the other week and you're right about Vanessa's stellar performance. I wept buckets. She is truly remarkable. I can't remember though, is she a Dame? It can't be long coming if she's not.
Grand mother but still a girl at heart. Married to MTL(my true love)after a separation of 30 years. Had three careers: trained paediatric nurse, National photographic model and business woman. Now settled in SW and enjoying our five children and ten grandchildren and making the most of what time we have left.
In January 2013 I lost MTL.

Is she still a member of the Workers Revolutionary Party? For an old Trot, she looks pretty good.

And she still looks elegant and dignified unlike Joan Rivers.
Sam: she was awarded a CBE in 1967 but- true to form - refused a Dame in 1999.
