The Great Phil Harris. MTL remembered. I can't fine 'Woodman spare that tree.' but this illustrates his thing.

I love these old story songs! You can hear some of their influence in Bob Dylan.

Judy: he was all the rage in the fifties and one knew all the words and all the intonations:'We're gonna play THIS game accordin' to ME!'

Sam: I love Maggie's Farm but I'm not sure Dylan got the mordant humour that Phil did.

Panu: it's a shame it's jerky but it does grow on you - believe me:)
