Hi Pat, what a beautiful picture, I've been reading down throught your posts & it sounds like such an exciting life you've led! I got a laugh out of your 'talk first think later' habit, I tend to have the same problem. Gets me in trouble with my 17 year old all the time! Here from Micheles today
Hello Pat, thanks for dropping in. I do remember you from before I took my blogging break.
Given your recent agent/dress/party missive, I assume you look out for Grand National runners with names such as 'MacLean's Mare' or 'Front-Tooth Filly'.
GG: it comes from the 'knees together' syndrome. I remember being shocked when I saw my step-daughter sitting with her knees apart. I'm sure now there would be two schools of thought. That we were tight a---d and the younger generation free and easy and more natural. I still believe that knees apart for a woman, is only acceptable in trousers.
rashbre: I don't have a portfolio as such - just odd photos that photographers gave me and a couple of cuttings books. So glad you are enjoying the story.
Having been forced to wear skirts for the first 16 years of my life I have resolved to wear trousers for the remaining. That way I don't have to worry about keeping my knees together and tree climbing is so much easier.
Although a beautiful creation like this might just tempt me to change my mind.
Do you think it would open up like a parachute in a fall?
These pictures are priceless! Sounds like you've had a wonderful life so far. I'll try to catch up now that I'm here. Michele sent me and I'm glad she did.
Grand mother but still a girl at heart. Married to MTL(my true love)after a separation of 30 years. Had three careers: trained paediatric nurse, National photographic model and business woman. Now settled in SW and enjoying our five children and ten grandchildren and making the most of what time we have left.
In January 2013 I lost MTL.

A solid 9.95 out of 10 on the "Fabulous Babe-O-Meter"TM. You would have had a perfect 10, but the East German judge is an idiot.
Cheers.
Hello, Michele sent me.
Nice photo(s). I've always wanted to meet a celebrity.
Randall: I shall dig the garden today with renewed vigour!
Judy: you're just saying that!
Hi archshrk! You won't find one here.
Wow! Great photo. Going to read some before I go too.

Blimey! You were short weren't you?
Carry on.
Hi Blue monkey jammies and welcome. what a great name. Stay as long as you like!
Andrewm: yeah - went down well with Toulouse!
Pure glamour. Fabulous.
Zinnia: Persil does coloureds too!
Wow! That's a lot of dress. If that dress had a flavor, I'd have to say it was peppermint!
Michele sent me,
Mike
You could do a lot of swishing in that.

Hi Becky: when I think about it I have been embarrassingly caught out with my sons from time to time:) But they still love me.
Utterly beautiful, Pat. This might be my favourite picture of you so far,

Lovely, Pat. I hope Keith doesn't see it. He'll get all unecessary!
John: tee hee! I love that expression!
Beautiful pictures. Reminds me of my mom's "beauty shots"...
Michele sent me ; have a great weekend !
Hi just a trumpet! Was your mom a model?
What an amazing dress. Just how long does it take to spread out a dress like that so perfectly, anyways?
Michele sent me. Nighty night.
Wonderful photo!
here from Michele's.
Hi margalit! It felt like hours and the lights are blinding so you can't see people's faces and it's very hot.
Thanks Sophie!
Yes, I did go all "unecessary".
All I can say is "Will you marry me?" Ooops, sorry, you are already happily married......well, a chap can dream cant he?
Keith : I know you aren't totally serious but I'm still flattered.
What a stunning dress and pose. I remember when these dresses were the vogue.
Visiting here from Michele's....
Hi Terri and welcome!
how graceful and utterly beautiful. you put today's models to shame.
dear Zoe! Just as well you can't see me at this moment - having just come in from gardening!
Yes, she does put today's models to shame, doesn't she?
I love the way women posed for pics. then. I've seen photos of my mother and aunts posing like that...so beautiful, graceful, feminine.

Thats a striking picture, presumably for your "portfolio?"
It must be fun to have such a collection along with the interesting stories from the time, which I'm enjoying reading.
Here, this time, via Michele's - Hiya!
