In Lewis we have great wooden statues of the Lewis Chessmen>. They're quite scary on such a large scale and if the kids hadn't been cowering behind me at the sight of them, I'd have been cowering behind them.
Sam: I must ask MTL if he knows of the Lewis chessmen. These ones aren't at all scary and feel part of the wood and no doubt will gradually rot down into it.
What a lovely place, though some of the pieces look a bit phallic!
Glad you had such lovely treat, girl friends are the best.
Sorry about your blogger woes, Sam had same problem on mine, must sayy so far so good for me. Though MSN is a complete pain these days, my internet breast cancer support group have moved to google as we could never get on MSN.
anna : I agree. We thought the last one had probably had the operation:) It is difficult to concentrate on anything when the family are here on and off over Easter and I am too busy to spit.
Grand mother but still a girl at heart. Married to MTL(my true love)after a separation of 30 years. Had three careers: trained paediatric nurse, National photographic model and business woman. Now settled in SW and enjoying our five children and ten grandchildren and making the most of what time we have left.
In January 2013 I lost MTL.

"Honey, you must remember to wear a longer skirt when you dig weeds in the garden."
Thanks for the photos.
Cheers.
Randall: I'll have to take your word for it.
