Anna:I can't find any phormiums. I dislike them having had one in the garden which grew and grew and had to go. Do tell me where you spotted them please.
You live in such a beautiful country...And these pictures give one such a wonderful feeling of "place"...Love the Animals and the talking to them, too! (lol) That slate is gorgeous...All the many colors...Very Beautiful! I love all the rolling hills you always see in so very many pictures of the UK countryside.... Thanks for this grand tour Pat! Here from Michele's this early A.M. and I'm off soon to Dreamland here in Hollywood!
Grand mother but still a girl at heart. Married to MTL(my true love)after a separation of 30 years. Had three careers: trained paediatric nurse, National photographic model and business woman. Now settled in SW and enjoying our five children and ten grandchildren and making the most of what time we have left.
In January 2013 I lost MTL.

Lovely place, but I hate the rash od phormiums in spots like that, they're hardly very English looking.
they're great in formal garden planting, but not dotted all over the place.

Sleep well Naomi1 I have just been admiring your views and favourite trees. Lovely!
Great photos, Pat. I love the colors in the slate, the church and the old cemetery. Very nice!
Judy: I wonder if you have the same difficulty I have in getting the photos to come out in the right order? Drives me nuts!
