Lovely place, but I hate the rash od phormiums in spots like that, they're hardly very English looking.

they're great in formal garden planting, but not dotted all over the place.

Anna:I can't find any phormiums. I dislike them having had one in the garden which grew and grew and had to go. Do tell me where you spotted them please.

You live in such a beautiful country...And these pictures give one such a wonderful feeling of "place"...Love the Animals and the talking to them, too! (lol)
That slate is gorgeous...All the many colors...Very Beautiful! I love all the rolling hills you always see in so very many pictures of the UK countryside....
