Blogger's Antics!

I apologise for the incoherence of this post and the quality of the photos but try as I might I was unable to publish them in the usual way. I have had to do each one separately, first as a draft and then publishing with no control whatsoever. Why does Blogger suddenly stop doing what it has successfully done for ages. Today I am 'Disgusted of Tunbridge Wells.'

Dump Blogger and get a page at Geocites.com. Easier to use, and no problems, believe me!

The only way Keith and I are allowed to comment on Blooger now is like this! Anon but not!

Wendy: I'm sorely tempted but loth to do anything new. Will probably bide a while and suffer!

That's Royal Tunbridge Wells and that looks like Watchet.

Pat said...

andrewm: somehow it didn't seem quite so Royal after I left and I labelled Watchet Watchet dearie!

Dissension in the family! Watch this spot for fireworks!

Jack: what can you mean?

Hi.

I agree with you re: Blogger, but I don't want to lose everything I've got and don't want to spend the time to migrate everything to a different platform.

Nice pics, BTW

Cheers.

Let's face it Randall we're both bone
b----y idle. I was up at 4.45am to do my post meaning to go back to bed later but it was a couple of hours of frustration. Time for a nap now!

Dear Disguste they look fine, but know what you mean about the frustration.

Aren't wood violets lovely. I took some pix of them too, and wood sorrel in flower, which is just so delicate and beautiful

Pat said...

Thanks Anna. But you do know that this is supposed to be a SPECIAL SOMERSET ONE:) Is wood sorrel the lovely white drift on the grass?

I can't load pictures at all at the moment, so I think you did really well.

Funny The Ancient Mariner turning up again. I printed it out only yesterday to read through and see if I could use some of it in a lesson. Would you mind if I used your photo of the statue too?

I feel your Blogger-related frustration, Pat. I've often wondered why I continue to maintain my blog on this platform. Once I have the time to shift it elsewhere, I will. I'm pretty fed up with its limitations.

Popped by from Michele's today. Hope you're having a wonderful evening.

Blogger does seem to like vexing us all from time to time.
Thank you for sharing those lovely photos.

Here via Michele today.

Carmi: I'm relieved it isn't just me. I am totally non-tech but keep on trying and trying till something works - or not!

Hi BMJ! Glad you liked the photos.

It certainly isn't you. Yaxlich and others have last their posts.
Glad I'm not with Blogger as I'm not too good with computers.
Hope you manage to sort out the problems.

Blogger is so deeply frustrating on almost every level...What is that about do you suppose? I mean...they make us move to the NEW Blogger and then it seems like that is totally and comlpetely screwed up and unsupported!!
OY! But like you, I am afraid to move to another thingy and have to begin learning everythihg all over again...Damned if you do and damned if you don't!

Pat said...

Sablonneuse: thanks dear. MTL reckons - with his optimism - that they will sort out the problems!

Naomi: I totally agree with you. Let's hope it will soon be sorted. It's nerve wracking when you suddenly find you can't publish in the usual way.

I discovered today that over the past 2 months you have commented more on my blog than anyone else. If I could think of a prize I would award it to you. Meanwhile, please accept a warm-hearted tooth-missing smile :)

I hate it when blogware doesn't behave. Sorry you're having problems. Michele sent me.

Pat said...

Hi Missmeliss. I can usually find a way round the problem but the quality suffers to say nothing of my blood pressure:)

It seems odd that everyone is suddenly having all these problems with blogger but it hasn't given me any problem.

oh, michele sent me by the way
