I have heard of the Coleridge Way. I read down to your last post and the part you walked sounds lovely. You are right these walks are a lovely way to relax! I have just written about one I took last weekend :-)

Michele sent me to say Hi.

Sounds like a great hike. The photos are marvelous.

Re: The pillbox. It was probably built to guard the intersection in case the Fallschirmjaeger decided to pop in.

Cheers.

Hi bob-kat! I'll be over to sample yours over the week-end.

Randall: ah the intersection! You're so clever Randall:) The Fallschir...?????

A wild Swedish guess:
Fallschirmjaeger= popping in Mary Poppins style, not armed with a spoonfull of sugar though.

Thanks Jean-luc!

Nea: that sounds feasible. I'll ask MTL and maybe Randall will enlighten us. The only bit I recognise is Jaegar - I used to shop there when I had more money than sense!

Am now up to date with your story and I thoroughly recommend new readers to go back to the beginning. It's a most enjoyable read and I'm eager for the next instalments.
Thank you very much for sharing your life with us.

Paratroopers, dear. One of the EMBLOS' great uncles was one.

This sounds right up my alley! I would LOVE to hike through this. I bet it was rejuvenating to first walk through it and then to finish it. How fun!

Michele hopes you're having a great weekend!

Randall: now that would really make sense. I wonder how I bring that word into the conversation?

Karen; you're right - the walk was good the finishing great!
