The cigar box just won't do!

I'm off to have a Christmas coffee with the girls. There may be mulled wine:)

Lovely! Wish I was there to mull things over with you!

Love the figurines. The cigar box doesn't quite capture the rustic feel. Not too much vino today, dear. Save a little for the actual holidays.

Cheers.

*Waves* I am near Crediton now! Perhaps we can meet up in the new year when I'm more settled.
I have still to get the Christmas vibe... I think Christmas is lost in a packing box somewhere and not properly labelled.

That is a very sweet Nativity scene. The cigar box isn't so bad! Just think--the real manger must have been very plain indeed.

Technogram; nice! I like it;)

Randall: it was just the one but the bites were too tempting.

Scarlet: I'd like that. Moving and Christmas are not good companions I guess. Hope you settle in comfortably.

Leah : comforting words - thank you;)

Johm.G as if!

I think your Nativity scene is charmingly placed and really really sweet--Cigar Box and all, my dear! I love all the Lambs. They look truly sweet, too! This makes a very Beautiful picture for one and all to see, dear Pat.

Well, I wouldn't have known it was a cigar box if you hadn't said so. It blends in very well.
Hope you enjoyed the vin chaud!

I always say, "The more mulled wine, the better the cigar box looks."

mmmmmmmmmmmm....mulled wine.....

Had that for the first time when Jax was around 3 or 4?

No idea where it was but there was a Santa thingy going on.

Caz had to drive home.....

Is that a surprise?...;-)

(She did forgive me....again...)

Naomi: I'm glad you like them. They are quite old now and I'm going to get then a decent stable - somehow.

Sandy: turned out to be sherry.

Charlie: alas the mulled didn't materialise but I put a brave face on.

Four.D: it smells like Christmas and is very moreish and now I feel bereft. I expect MTL will make some if I ask nicely.

Parsnip: and they are very well behaved - unlike the cards - which fall about all over the place.

I hope you enjoyed your time with old friends today and had your fill of wine!

The cigar box does a good job!

One of those traditions though complex to administer. A cigar for the father after a birth...?

Pat said...

Savannah, Maggie and Judy: thank you. Kindness and good will abound:)

Rashbre: that works for me;)

Yep, I love the way you throw yourself into joyful things, Pat.

You capture the spirit here.

GG: there are always reasons to be cheerful - if you look hard enough.
