I will share this with my mother-in-law when I see her this morning. She was an English war bride who hailed from Chester. She has been talking about the war years lately. She will smile. And so will I.

Debra: this comment and two others seem to have gone walkabout and I've only just found it. I've just asked MTL if he remembered the song and he managed to sing the first few lines. Now I'm getting muddled. I'm referring to a later you tube - 'When I grow too old to dream.'on today's post.
