I really love the artwork, imagine doing the touch-ups without Photoshop and Corel Draw! Was this the 1950s? And it looks like a magazine page. Cool stuff!
Cloudcutter ~ Maybe the touch-up artist had to improve the rest of the picture, but I'm sure he didn't do anything with Pats image. How can you improve on perfection?
Grand mother but still a girl at heart. Married to MTL(my true love)after a separation of 30 years. Had three careers: trained paediatric nurse, National photographic model and business woman. Now settled in SW and enjoying our five children and ten grandchildren and making the most of what time we have left.
In January 2013 I lost MTL.

"I don't believe it!".
I know you are a great cook, but that's a bit of an exageration isn't it?
I think it was a 'Fortnum and Mason Christmas hamper', and you were paid vast amounts of money just to pose in front of it.
Tut!

Love the illustration! You look wonderful, as always.

Keith: I was supposed to hold the turkey aloft but it was so heavy I couldn't and smile at the same time.
Otherwise you were spot on as usual.
CC: it was one of my early modelling photos for Woman's Own circa 1954. They were just starting to be able to retouch colour photos.
Judy: thank you. Well done for recognising me:)
Keith::)
I knew it's you Pat! By touch-up I meant just the colour bit, it has that lovely watercolour print feel. Keith is right - you are perfect!
Btw that kid was quite a model! I love the expression on her face.
Really that could be me in my younger days, although my kitchen help was taller than yours.
So that's how you normally do Christmas every year, with YTL standing looking on in a suit and tie?
Cheers.
CC: that kid will now be middle aged to elderly. Sixties anyway:)
Daphne: you mean the child surely? you're too young to be the Mum.
Randall: MTL and a suit and tie only happen at weddings and funerals.
These days he spends more time in the kitchen than I do.
Simply great stuff. What? You couldn't hold it aloft for the repeated reshots? Seriously....that's wonderful and so are you.
Maggie: no I'm just a puny wimp;)
Wow. That's a great photo!
Kanani: it's almost antique now.
Whether she did or not...she is beautiful.
I love reading those old mags, right now we have a box of ollllld Readers Digest. I think that will be my holiday reading.
My mother says you look like Virginia Mayo [spelling?]. She says she was an actress.
GG: thanks to Mum - I'll accept Virgina Mayo with pleasure:)
