Before enlarging the photo he looks like a giant bug. I thought maybe a Halloween prankster.
Good job done......finally!!
Granny Annie: taking through a window is not very satisfactory.
John: took three of them all day. There is much more than meets the eye.
Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful I adore your garden.
I had to enlarge the photo too ! I barley saw him the first time.
cheers, parsnip
Three generations of.....? Is that rugged-looking lumberjack character a member of your family?
Gadjo: no. Three generations of the family who have been our tree loppers for many years.
I would have loved to photograph them all- the grandfather is a particularly striking man- but was shy of asking . MTL always dealt with them. It was the first time I had seen the grand son and was much amused to see he had the typical teen-age, languid air with a broom and his Grandfather's remark:
'He just needs to get a bit faster.'
Parsnip: next time I'll be braver and not hide behind a window.
I couldn't see anyone and I couldn't enlarge it, either....But everything I could see looks so very pretty....
I had no Internet for days....so I'm a little late getting round, my dear.
Another job to tick off the list!
Feels good when it's done, doesn't it?
Sx
Naomi: I'm glad you are back on:)
Scarlet: I keep popping in and having a quiet sit.
You do have a beautiful view from your windows! But what I like a lot is … your windows! They open. Here the windows don’t open all the way, half of the window goes up under the other half, and since we have so many bugs in the South, there is always a screen on the windows.
Vagabonde: the windows open in theory but the older ones can be very stiff and once open difficult to close. The rooms with French windows are the easiest.
I can see it's looking very fine and neat. I guess the weather didn't give a helping hand with the tree lopping around your way.
Can he come and do mine? They look good!
Joey: don't you live hundreds of miles away?
