I don't know if you believe in any Astrology things..BUT, "Mercury" is Retrograde right now...and the things that have been happening to you vis-a-vis money, etc., are typical stuff when Mercury is going backwards, so to speak....They say one should just stay in bed during a Mercury Retrograde...lol!
There could be more stuff, my dear...I hope not, but...if it happens, just know it is good old Mercury.....UGH!!!!
Naomi: that is no comfort but at least I have just had news of a surprise visit from our French son - which is cheering.
