Wonderful post and beautiful photos ! I was so happy to see some photos, to go along with your story. How special that you can see a church that was mentioned in the Domesday Book. So much history all around where you live. I love when you bring us along on these trips of yours.
hahahahahah, my "trip" on my blog today was to my frig ! Gosh I lead such an exciting life !
Parsnip: it's still easier to do the photos seperately. I think it maybe to do with Windows 7 so I grin and bear it. Life can never be dull with Hamish and Watson:)
It is ALL very interesting! And so much history...! And to think they named a cookie after Lorna Doose! (lol)....LOVE the pictures, Pat....they always enrich the words so much...Thanks for all this, my dear.
Grand mother but still a girl at heart. Married to MTL(my true love)after a separation of 30 years. Had three careers: trained paediatric nurse, National photographic model and business woman. Now settled in SW and enjoying our five children and ten grandchildren and making the most of what time we have left.
In January 2013 I lost MTL.
