Women nurture whilst men...

MTL asked #2 son to trim my vanilla scented clematis - uinknown to me.
Fortunately for his health and safety there are a few green shoots.
It had wandered along the telephone line and I wouldn't want it to interfere with my computer would I?????

You wouldn't have harmed him, though you might have been a bit stern for a couple of days.

Cheers.

I thought the same as Ponita when the first photo came into view!

That's not a trim it's a full #1 shave

Randall: well fairly stern:)

Scarlet: interference sounds a bit ominous. I never was successful with wistaria. I hope yours survived.

Parsnip: what you see is just above the ground.

Ponita: its going to need to be hardy to survive that lot.

Naomi: as we are having a bit of a drought I must keep it well watered aaand fingers crossed. He did the same to a jasmine plant which started out as a pot plant and then grew up and over the balconies - he thought it was a danger to the house but it is sprouting up again. Hooray!

Macy: you can say that again:)

I would not have even known I had that plant. I only recognize grass and trees:) Oh wait, we do have blackberry bushes in abundance and I do recognize those.
