Day of rest?

Today I’m going to empty the fountain of Ran Cid rain water (no relation to El) – clean it – ugh – fill it – yay – and commission it. Hopefully.
I know I could suck up a tube to start it to self empty but what with swine ’flu - to say nothing of legionnaires’ disease I think manually is best.

Hope I don’t miss the men’s final and BTW how can Serena Williams win a stupendous ladies doubles wearing a long sleeved sweater - as immaculate at the end of the match as the beginning? No sweat.

What? No July 4, Independence Day Post?

:)

I trust all goes well with the fountain. At the "commissioning" will you say, "Bless This Fountain, and all birds which bathe in her?"

Cheers.

Momo: You must have known I'm wearing pink - to make the boys wink.

Judy: too late for before and everybody - I'm sure - is sick of seeing my wretched fountain. After all that work it's not working. Grrrrrr!

Kanani: keeps me fit:)

Randall: you all do it so much better.

After all the emptying and cleaning and filling I switched on ready to celebrate and - nothing. The electrics seem to have packed up. MTL can't bear the thought of yet another work-man on the premises.

EEEEWWWWWW! Sucking up that stuff kind of made me a little nauseated just considering it. I actually had LEGIONAIRRES DISEASE!!!! Yes, that has to do with my compromised lungs....!

Serena is "cool" in all it's meaning! HOORAY for her!

How can Serena Williams play tennis at all with those huge knockers?

Mum2,I think contracting swine flu from the fountain is like hoping to win the lottery!

Well, at least you got a bit of exercise! X

As for Serena, could she be from Stepford?

Great to find you blog via Helen, have a great week!

Naomi:what bad luck getting that disease. It often seems to be associated with pipe systems.
Can you see Wimbledon in California as it is happening? We were thrilled that Pete Sampras turned up to see the final.

Daphne: she is immensely strong - physically and mentally. It always amazes me what a gentle sweet voice she has.

John.g: you never know - I don't like to take chances:)

Eryl: or botox?

Martin: lovely to see you. Yes Helen is great but I've only seen her sober - maybe next time:)
