Harriet Nolan is a 13 yr old student at my old school Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School. She wrote this song 'Cry' and won first prize at 'Rossendale's got Talent'.

Above is the URL for the video.
Blogger is really being difficult today
What a clever girl! I hope she's not writing from personal experience, at her age.
Yes, what is up with Blogger? I'm having ceaseless problems.
Anyway, that is very cool.
And p.s. I have tagged you!
although, I just remembered that you had bowed out of the handwriting festivities pleading illegibility!
More's the pity, though. I'm now obsessed with seeing people's handwriting!
The video is working fine now, and kudos to young Harriet. I hope she pursues her singing and song writing because she has a lot of potential.
Oh My Goodness what a talent ! and only 13 ! ! !
Eryl: I remember being in love with a boy I used to see on a double decker bus going in the opposite direction when I was at Whitewell Bottom School which meant I was under eleven. But I wasn't clever enough to write a song about it:)
Leah : I am ashamed of my handwriting - never good but now with stiff fingers appalling.
Charlie: Ive played it a number of times and like it more each time. She's at a good school so will get a good education to stand her in good stead.
Parsnip: I love that she writes her stuff and plays so well.
A very nice song. I'd like to hear it sung by a person with a stronger voice.
Thanks for the url, but it wouldn't work. It took me to YouTube and said, The Video isn't available. Grrrrrrr. But I dearly thank you for trying, Pat...
And it woulldn't copy and paste..I had to write it all down--which I did...But, STILL....LOL! Blogger and YouTube and Me....OY!
More Flowers are UP, my dear...this time Peony's
Pat, I can only echo Charlie's comments.
Judy: she's just 13 - maybe it will get stronger.
Naomi: you wouldn't believe the trouble I had. If you google Harriet Nolan and you tube you should get a range of choices.
I'll be over soon.
Jimmy: any one less like 'Little Sir Echo' I can't imagine:)
I was finally able to find this video on YouTube by putting in her name....(And I actually thought of that before you posted the suggestion...! LOL! Bery nice, indeed!
I do believe the trouble you had...Everything is going wonky right now in my life, so it doesn't surprise me that Blogger is wonky, too...lol....One would think that Mercury has gone Retrograde again...but, it hasn't.
Naomi: well done. I just read about her in my school magazine and just googled for the hell of it.
