The New Look at the end of WW2 - black lace and chiffon
Bosoms were back in 1949 - synthetic metllic ball gown - worn to the Hunt Ball
1950 - my era - rayon blouse, full black skirt and fabric flowers. I still have that record- High Society
1960's party wear - metallic jacket and skirt
These were clothes owned and worn by local people.

How nice that they still had those clothes. It is fun to see the stuff of days gone by!
FABULOUS Post, my dear...This looks like it was a very special Fashion Show---at least the Vintage things look quite wonderful More than quite wonderful--Super, I would say.
Too bad the battery's died....It pays to always carry an extra set with you, LOL...But not always easy to remember to do so!
Judy: I wish I'd been close enough to touch them.
Naomi:I should I know but whether I would have been able to change them in those really cramped conditions I'm not sure.
Pat...Thanks for your visit and your comment...You know when I look at that first picture of the Kalenchoe, I'm thrilled that it came out as good as did---and that one can, indeed, see the texture so wonderfully....It is an amazing species....And quite beautiful!
Incidentally, I copied a couple of your pictures and lightened them in Picassa....I will try to email them to you. That is such a great part of Picassa---in fact, that's what I use Picassa for more than anything else....to do some "fixing" like lightening, etc...
Naomi: I have a lot to learn about 'fixing'. It's very frustrating when you know the effect you want and don't know how to get it. I'm getting beyond the age of learning another new skill I'm afraid.
