Hi Pat, Thanks for stopping by my blog, your suggestion about giving what I can't keep/don't want is a great one. Now if I can just get into my email to let my uncle know!
That's pretty good, Pat, when you can get 007 to take your picture. The car looks neat but a little too small for me. Just perfect for you tho. Vroom, vroom!
Michele sent me over to your side of the pond to look at your legs and your "floozie" hair!
That's definitely a keeper. I love how you look like you were caught in the moment but in reality you were posing (had to put the shoes on for the photo)
I think I saw a similar ad for those "Candies" shoes. Or at least they would do this kind of ad.
Thanks eg but join the club -I have lots of problems now:)
Auntie M: I find if you imagine a camera watching you getting in or out of a car it encourages decorum. However I have to admit that in the privacy of my own home I often throw decorum to the winds and let it all hang out!
Which is a good thing, because the weather here is frightful as well. Walking the dog was not an enjoyable experience. Nor was drying him off afterward. He looked like a drowned rat.
Good luck on the driving assessment. I applaud your courage in seeing this through.
Good luck with the driving. It sounds like a really good idea. Something I ought to try myself. I only drive during the summer months here, I get really out of practise and I need to boost my confidence so that I can cope with winter conditions.
Your YouTube problem does it only occur on my blogg?
My best friend recently re-learned to drive after crashing her father's car fifteen years ago and my mother-in-law passed her test at sixty-nine. So, start looking for a cute new car now, you'll be whizzing all over the place in no time at all.
I don't know why you get the"close tabs" comment etc, but as an alternative you could try clicking on the YouTube logo at the bottom right of the image instead of the play button. If you click on the logo the film comes up in a new window, then you can just close the window when you're done.
Hi belle! Yes that's spot on. I didn't do much walking in mine and preferred to be hanging on to someone whilst vertical. Well done on still having a 1964 Triumph. Is it old enough not to pay road tax?
oh yes! LOML wouldn't spend more money than he has to!
btw - thanks for the tip on comments - I do check them all - its how you feel if you get a nasty one even if you do delete it! I got a nasty one through Friends Reunited once - it still rankles!
Grand mother but still a girl at heart. Married to MTL(my true love)after a separation of 30 years. Had three careers: trained paediatric nurse, National photographic model and business woman. Now settled in SW and enjoying our five children and ten grandchildren and making the most of what time we have left.
In January 2013 I lost MTL.

Wow! You look beautiful in your little car! I guess it doesn't have a back seat, am I right?
Hi, Michele sent me!
No back seat RC - just a boot(trunk) for luggage.
Funky car, sexy shoes, fabulous legs!
f:lux: I promise you I didn't drive in those shoes - took me all my time to walk in them!
Love that car. And the shoes too. If you still have them they're back in again!
Hi - Michele sent me today; it's a pleasure to meet you.
Hi Finn! Sadly the shoes and the car are long gone.
With Sean Connery as James Bond just out of the frame?
Driving or legs? xx
Like the others, I covet the shoes...and the car. So trendy!
Hi Pat,

That is what I call a car. High quality.
Michele sent me.
I bet the legs remain though!!
Woo woo!
Was this for an ad too, Pat?
This weekend I'm going to catch up reading. Bad internet, bad internet!
Shane : he's taking the photo!
fjl: it is a bit leggy I suppose!
Wendz: Spitfire Mark 11. the shoes were probably Raynes or Elliots. they were the only ones who did double A fittings and cost a bomb!
becky68: glad to help becky.
jean-luc: glad you approve!
johng: last time I looked:)
GG: no this is long after my modelling days - in my forties -taken by William - my floozie (bleached hair) period.

Love it! All of it! Though I don't know how you managed in those shoes - especially driving ;o)
Hi Utenzi! You don't miss much!
Kath: I drove in flatties and had heels in the car. I just put them on for the photo. Once a model always a model:)
Ooooh, I love it! This is a fantastic photo! Do you have it framed?
I'm envious of your relationship with Sean...swooon....
No Moogie I got it from an old album of my mother's. Sean is just another Scottish bloke really. Lots of them about. Kim on my side bar is much nicer!
You look very sassy in that photo. Hope you are enjoying your new blogging chair. Here from Michele's.
Thanks Catherine - it's very comfortable.

What an adorable car! And an adorable person in it, too! You look so glamourpos, my dear...! Love It!
Hi archshrk: getting out of that car gracefully took some practice - knees together !
Wow! You have some legs on ya!
Thank you Naomi! I'm just wondering if you have finished the chocolate cake:)
vid digger: I'm beginning to feel like a shameless hussy!
In your 40s - oh dear, I have a problem! Btw - you still look great.
EG
Those are indeed outrageous shoes.
My physio says we should always keep legs together getting out of cars. AND (and this is the hard bit) getting INTO them as well.
It makes you look like a bit of an old lady unless you can simultaneously pull off the Lady Diana designer handbag distraction technique.
Thanks eg but join the club -I have lots of problems now:)

Damn, that's hot!

triumph spitfire. a lot of fun in a small packege, like you!
david re the comment on your site- are you teasing me? You tube is what you used to play the Connie thing.
this is an amazing photograph. You look so happy.
Michele sent me to say hello and my day is better for having been here.
nice pins babe!
Wow, a Spitfire and some gorgeous gams. Was this for an advertisement?
Thank you Liegh - it's nice to have you visit.
4d: yes young man!
No Margalit! My first husband took it as I was getting out of the car but I changed my shoes first.
Good luck with the driving. It sounds like a really good idea. Something I ought to try myself. I only drive during the summer months here, I get really out of practise and I need to boost my confidence so that I can cope with winter conditions.
Your YouTube problem does it only occur on my blogg?
Nea: it must be a nightmare driving there in the winter.
No it isn't just yours. It happened to me today over at David in the Mountains.
You're so cute!

Nice curves. I am talking about the car, of course, of course.

Eryl:well done your friend and MIL. I'll have to see how I go but we had decided to make do with one car now.
Hoss: I was very fond of that little car. It was stolen in the end.
Nea: thanks Nea -I'll try that.
That looks like a Spitfire (the car!) and it must be early 70s for those shoes - didn't we walk funny in platforms and block heels? Clump, clump!
We still have our 1964 TR4A ... !
