It is my son's birthday today - a cause for celebration - but not without remembering the death of my great-grandfather in WW1, without which my grandmother would never have met my grandfather.
Wars change lives.

Happy Birthday Polly's son! My eldest son is Nov 28, MTL's NOv4th and wedding anniversary Nov 23 so lots of reasons to be thankful.
